Join us on November 11th for a special luncheon to honor our Veterans. Our keynote speaker will be Larry Smith. Mr. Smith is the retired President and Chairman of the Board for Tokyo Electron US (TEL). He currently serves as Senior Advisor to TEL’s CEO and is also a member of Texas Semiconductor Innovation Consortium Executive Committee. He is a graduate of West Point and served in the U.S. Army. He has been an active community supporter of many causes, which includes a passion for helping hire veterans into the semiconductor industry and addressing chronic homelessness. Larry will provide a summary of his experience in the Army, his transition into civilian life, continued support of the veterans, and his community involvement. Larry epitomizes servant leadership and his story is one of inspiration.

We will also hear from Remmer Machamer, who, at the age of 13, has been driven for several years to honor and remember our deceased veterans as well as teach the value of freedom through Wreaths Across America (WAA). He helped to bring WAA to the State Cemetery here in Austin, which places 3,300 wreaths on each grave in the cemetery. See more here.
